We start this journey through an initial meeting in which we invest all the time required to understand who you are, where you are now and where you really want to be. 

You might not have thought about this before and so it may develop over a number of conversations but we’re there to help you articulate your aspirations. It is also an opportune time to get to know us, our values and what it means to be a client of MacPhail Kennedy, so you can make an informed choice of whether we’re the right people to help you on your journey. 

We’ll then do all the hard work of finding out more about any existing pensions and investments, undertaking in-depth research encompassing charges, performance and special features.

Once we fully understand your current circumstances, we will make a recommendation designed to deliver on your retirement ambitions. This will combine your bespoke financial plan with our technical expertise and the investment capabilities of St. James's Place, helping to fulfil your goals in the most efficient way possible.

We are committed to always being open and transparent, meaning we will always explain the reasoning for our recommendation, any charges, your statutory rights and any protections that apply. You will be encouraged to ask any questions you have and take time to review the advice we have confirmed in writing.

If you decide that we are the right people to help you on your journey, we will confirm with you the details we have provided to you and the investments we have made on your behalf.

Importantly, this is just the start of a trusted relationship that we hope will last decades.
